I don't know why... but I have tried frequently to post some pictures on this blog and it just does not work!! It's frustrating, but for today I think you'll all be glad! Carrie made her first poop in the potty tonight and I did take a picture of it! After all I've been through with that nasty rotavirus and still a lot of acclimating to new foods... I am rejoicing over our first success on the potty!!!! I just might have been tempted to post the picture (haha)!
Carrie is doing really well and we're just enjoying watching more of her personality and skills emerging daily! What a sweetie!! She is ravenous though...she wakes up like, "Give me my milk and make it snappy!" I am not the morning person and I get pretty annoyed with her morning demands, but we're both working on it.
Drew knocks her over every chance he gets and is pretty much exhausting what little voice I have right now. I adore that boy more than I can express, but man is he ticking me off lately! Just a lot of adjustments, as you can imagine! It's hard to be prince of the house for so many years and have it all get rocked over night. He got his Polar Express trains set up under the tree last night and is so thrilled! I WILL find a way to get some pictures posted soon!!!

Yes, indeed I am THANKFUL that you can't post pictures of her poop. :) But, ever more thankful that Miss. Carrie is doing GREAT!! As for BIG brother just give him time...it's going to be hard on him for a bit but when he realized she's NOT going anywhere and he has to learn how to "deal" with her it will get better. IF not, you might want to remind him that one day SHE will be BIG and he had better watch out. :) Give those sweet kids of yours ((HUGS)) and kisses from me.
God Bless,
Kelly
WoW... what a big girl... already using the potty, quite impressive Miss Carrie. I know how hard this transition has been for Drew... being knocked off your thone is no fun... I hope he realized though... he will always be your Guatemalan Prince !
God Bless-
Julie
Glad to hear that Carrie is feeling better...even more glad to know I won't have to see it!
Isn't it great to be a mom and like poop???
